My goal is to foster a thinking, learning, fun, relationship between humans and canines, based on trust, respect, and love. The training uses the principles of operant conditioning and the latest advances in canine learning theory to combine both the science and art of teaching dogs and their human. Manifesto We believe dog training can, and should be fun for both dogs and people, not a ‘dominance’ struggle. We believe dog training is the best way to have an understanding, cooperative relationship with dogs. We believe there is no reason that makes it ok to ‘punish’ our dogs into behaving better – no matter their size, age, breed, or sex. We believe in positive dog training using the latest science and factual information. Finally, we believe that whenever anyone hurts a dog, scares a dog, or intimidates a dog, it damages the relationship and makes the dog afraid to do something “wrong,” rather than excited to do something ‘right.’ Dogs who learn to love learning are far more likely to do as we ask! Simple as that! Learning shouldn’t hurt.
