Though technically not a Dog Park, dogs are permitted at the south end of the park, and many neighborhood dogs go there every day to meet and play. Park staff does monitor the dogs’ activity, and will enforce the leash law if the situation looks dangerous to them. The City of Aventura is currently reviewing plans for a dog park. Interested residents should contact the City’s Parks and Recreation Department to voice their opinions and/or get more information.
